Printer Test Page - Free Color Inkjet Diagnostic Sheet

A printer test page is useful when you need a controlled pattern instead of diagnosing a random document. This version adds corner fiducials and measurement zones so the printed output can be analyzed after you photograph it.

Fast path: print the standardized sheet, photograph the complete page, and let the browser measure the known test zones.

What this test page checks

The sheet contains line-continuity patterns, multi-tone banding fields, geometry references and CMYK channel-health swatches. Print it at 100% / Actual Size on plain paper using Color and Normal quality.

Why 100% scale matters

Fit to Page changes the physical geometry of the pattern. Printer Vitals checks the relationship between the paper edge and the printed fiducials and can flag likely page scaling.

After you print it

Do not rely only on visual inspection. Put the page on a dark surface, keep all four paper edges visible, take a clear photo and run the browser analysis.

How to run the test

  1. Print the official sheet at 100% / Actual Size, Color, Plain Paper, Normal quality.
  2. Place the full sheet on a dark surface in even light.
  3. Take a sharp photo with all four paper edges visible.
  4. Upload it to the browser analyzer.
  5. Make one conservative change, then retest using the same settings.
Scope: Printer Vitals is optimized for color inkjet output. Results are measurements plus probable causes, not a guarantee of the exact failed component.
